Seriously folks, after all the crazy ass grassroots theatre that I’ve done (and I’ve done my fair share, and loved every second of every experience. For the most part….), getting a piece you love with a writing partner that is quickly becoming the creative ying to my yang, fucking rocks. Just got back from the gorgeous, modern Ars Nova where Kit and I had a marketing meeting with their faithful Press guy Steve (who was proefssional and adorable). They have so much taken care of press wise, artist support wise that I walked outta that joint like I had just gotten home from a perfect 1st date. Or a sweet one night stand. Both, actually. These guys are on the ball. This Festival is gonna be sick and this show is gonna be amazing. I feel like I’ve birthed the second coming, that’s how proud I am of this piece. I’m sure in three weeks, when Kit and I are in the thick of the artistic process and trying to polish the show, this blog will get dirty. But you’ll hear all about it.
